Courthouse, along with Ballston, Clarendon, Rosslyn and Virigina Square, make up the cluster of urban villages just outside the DC area.
It stands to reason that an area named Courthouse would serve as the unofficial county seat for the Arlington neighborhoods. The area actually got its name from the many government entities that make their home here. This includes the police headquarters, the primary county government administrative complex and, of course, the courthouse. With the strong government influence, it’s not surprising then that many consider this area to be a slice of Washington, DC on the Virginia side of the river. Therefore, as you search Courthouse homes for sale, you can also consider finding employment in this thriving area.
Searching the MLS for Courthouse area homes offers a variety of housing options for interested home buyers, including Colonial Village.
